Choose where it is going

Before you pay, the artwork page asks where the piece is going. You see the shipping cost, or that it will be quoted, before you reach the payment page.

• Monterrey metro area: free delivery for addresses in Nuevo León. Melanie contacts you after your purchase to arrange the day.
• Rest of Mexico: when there is a set rate, it is added to your payment at checkout. When there isn't, you pay for the artwork first and we email you a shipping quote to pay separately. You can cancel the order if the quote doesn't work for you; see Returns and refunds.

Rest of Mexico rates depend on the size: prints, originals up to 60 cm on the longest side, and larger originals. One shipping charge covers the whole order.

When it ships

Originals and prints ship within 5 business days after payment (after the shipping payment, when shipping is quoted). For free delivery in the Monterrey metro area, Melanie contacts you to agree on a day and time, usually within a week.

When your piece ships you get an email with the carrier and the tracking number.

Packing

Paintings are wrapped, protected at the corners and boxed; prints travel rolled in a tube or flat in a rigid mailer.

For international shipping, large canvases ship rolled in a tube unless you ask otherwise. Rolled, a canvas travels lighter and ships for much less. Panels (rigid boards) are the exception: they always ship flat in a box. If you want a canvas shipped stretched or framed, ask us before it ships; you pay the higher shipping cost.

If something arrives damaged

Write to hello@melaniefleitas.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the piece and the packaging. We will work it out with you and the carrier: repair, replacement when possible, or a full refund.
