Alma de Colibrí

After you press Buy now, the payment form asks for your address and lets you choose Monterrey metro area or Rest of Mexico. It shows the shipping and the total before you pay. Free shipping in the Monterrey metro area is for addresses in Nuevo León; Melanie contacts you to arrange the day.

When shipping has a set rate it is part of your payment. When it doesn't, you pay for the artwork first and we email you a shipping quote to pay separately. If the quote doesn't work for you, you can cancel for a full refund.

It ships within 5 business days after payment, and you get an email with the carrier and the tracking number.

Full shipping details

Melanie packs every piece herself in her studio in Monterrey. Paintings are wrapped, protected at the corners and boxed; prints travel rolled in a tube or flat in a rigid mailer.

For international shipping, large canvases ship rolled in a tube unless you ask otherwise. Panels (rigid boards) always ship flat in a box. If you want a canvas shipped stretched or framed, ask us; you pay the higher shipping cost.

The painting comes with a certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist.

If something arrives damaged, write within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the piece and the packaging. We work it out with you and the carrier: repair, replacement when possible, or a full refund.

You can return it within 14 days of delivery. Write to us first so we can tell you how to pack it. Return shipping is paid by you, and the original shipping charge is not refunded, unless the piece arrived damaged or is not the one you ordered.

You can cancel any time before it ships and we refund the full amount you paid.

Returns and refunds

You pay by card on a secure Stripe payment form. Your card details go to Stripe, never to this site. While you pay for an original, it is held for you so nobody else can buy it.

No account needed: we email your receipt and every shipping update. Sign in later with the same email and the order shows up in your account.
